AMERICAN IDOL!!!

For the first time watching the show, I can say I'm amazed. I loved many of the past winners and came to know they were winners after being so in love, but since the Top 40 I have only one talented person in my mind: James Durbin! So you can imagine how sad and shocked I was when I watched him being eliminated... I totally agree with his words "I worked so damn hard to get here. God, I was really hoping to get there, but, you know, I had a feeling today. God, I did so much stuff that's never been done on this show before... In my eyes, in my mind, I did what I came here to do - and that was to give metal a chance." After a lot of pop and country I had finally found somebody to cheer for! Now my dream of having him around is shattered... or is it? I don't really think he will be out of sight (or earshot) for so long. His gift is very promising and so is Casey's... I cried with him the night he was eliminated and saved and that for me was the most emotional and intense moment of this season. Tonight, we get to know who's gonna win, but I tell you, Steven Tyler's daring comments and Jeniffer Lopez's sweet responses have made me a fan, I do hope they come back as judges next year, or at least professionals with the same knowledge and experience in the area, and charisma, definitely. Randy, well, he's not as evil or sour as Simon was but he knows his stuff and he just can't leave. He's in it to win it and he was the one who could always separate how much he likedsomebody and how well they did on their performances. Ryan Seacrest is lovely and a great entertainer... comparing to Ídolos, in Brazil, our host and judges aren't as good as that, unfortunately, though they try hard not to disappoint. Due to a certain delay on the broadcast of the show here in Brazil, only last weekend we were able to catch up with the show in the USA, so tonight, no spoilers, I'll be able to watch it live! I also hope next year we don't get such delay, cause man, being two weeks behind made it almost impossible to come online without knowing the results, all over twitter, facebook and so on. The ones I hope to hear from very soon are those above, James, Casey, and undoubtedly, Naima! She was an exotic flower and I miss her energy! Enjoy the show and please please Give metal a chance!!!!!
